Born in Kansas City, Missouri and living and working in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Using fabric to create large-scale installation work, she is interested in inserting color and form into both built and natural environments. Hayes’ work and the environments in which she places them explores painting processes, architectural space, light, and shadow. Her pieces have been exhibited all over the world, installed in landscapes in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Turkey; and Italy to name a few.
