Hannah Polskin Art: SURFBOARD Luxe Living Sculptures Merge Fine Art with Functional Design - LA-Based Artist Redefines Contemporary Spaces
At the intersection of fine art and functional design, Hannah Polskin creates statement pieces that transform living spaces into immersive art environments. Her signature works, from amorphous art mirrors to monumental abstract paintings, feature organic forms and high-contrast aesthetics that command attention while maintaining a sense of serene sophistication. As an acclaimed Los Angeles-based artist with pieces in notable private collections, Polskin has pioneered the concept of "livable art."
What distinguishes her work is the masterful blend of artistic vision with practical luxury - each piece serves both as a striking artistic statement and a functional element of daily life. Her rapidly growing collector base and successful collaborations with prestigious design houses reflect the increasing demand for her unique aesthetic. When you acquire a Hannah Polskin piece, you're not just purchasing art or furniture - you're investing in a sculptural cornerstone that elevates your entire living space into a curated gallery experience.
Hannah Polskinis a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Los Angeles, California. Inspiration for her abstract pieces begin with the materials themselves, as she works with types of wood to inform her artistic process. The pieces that result are a smooth abstraction, where flat areas of black and white meet with, cross, and untangle from a warm natural wood canvas. Shapes in her works undulate, moving with a smooth and almost meditative ease. The artist often works with clients to create custom pieces, creating a dialogue to produce a completely unique piece with custom woods, shapes, and color. Polskin’s work has been featured in The New York Times and Architectural Digest, among other notable publications, and most recently exhibited in St Barth’s Space Gallery.
